World from a different angle

Cowards & Puppets

The Saudi government described Hizbullah's attacks on Israel as miscalculated and untimely acts... Okay! We've been waiting for the right time for ages, I htink we had to wait till they burn the last street in Gaza for example! And I don't think Hassan Nasrullah would get himself into this war unless he's sure of his first and second strike capability.

On the other hand, Jordan and Egypt issued a joint statement condemning the Israeli atrocities. Well that is better, but it's still a shy starement and not up to the intesity and the seriousness of the situation. They also warned from miscalculated risks, what is with Arabs and risks? I know it's not wise to take miscalculated risks, but, we don't take risks at all! Why did they consider this one  miscalculated beforehand? For all I know, there is a big difference between being wise and being a coward... Why should we be so cowardly while Israel is acting with all the insolence in the world! They even have the gutts to demand the Lebanese government intervention to stop Hizbullah! It's like: We want to kill, we want to mount raids on the Palestinians, and you just shut up! And cling to peace efforts! The time is never appropriate niether for peace nor for striking back, losers!

Well, what was that power equation? I forgot the name of the man who came up with it.... anyways, I think it was:

Power= Military capabilities+ Economics capabilities+ Population+ Land area /Goal+Will

If you have the will, it cancover for the lack of Military and economic capabilities! I'm not suggesting taking risks randomly and going to fight just like that, but I'm saying: You don't have to wait till everyone is killed and till you have the same weapons Israel have! At least take some political actions, stop acting like quivering kids and do something for real! And stop talking about miscalculated risks (though I think this might be the new mass-used word of the decade, it could even beat "terrorism")

The greatest risk in life is to risk nothing at all

asalam 3alaykom,
very good view ya ola..
i said it once when i wrote about lebanon and i'll say it again..
I wish i can see one of the egyptian men be half as man as hassan narullah is before i die..
puppets is an understatement..
When men loose all kind of dignety ans bow for the enemy while it erases the arabic presence from the world..that is far more worse than being a puppet..
i would rather die anytime than to be a shameful coward who says to his torturer..please give me more..
allah yensour 7ezbullah or anyother party that is willing to fight the enemies of allah.

Salaam...
i expected a cold response from the wealthy arabs...they are way too much in love with this world.
I would really like to see the House of Saud(being the Caretaker of the 2 Holy Masjeeds) declare full-scale war on Israel-like it should...but i guess there's a higher chance of copper turning Gold then that to happen.

the poll u linked---
over 60% of the voters said its justified..there's a simple explanation- only Jewish/Amareekan scumbags frequent to CNN- most Muslims and other sensible ppl dont trust CNN/BBC...
so the demography of the voters arent as random to give a creditable poll result.

Ola,
Did you ever think that maybe the biggest puppet is Nasralla himself. If it was not for the military and cash flow from Iran and Syria there would be no Hezbolla. In addition, if Nasralla is the defender of the Lebaneese people why is he hiding underground. In the end like all armed conflicts....the innocent civilian suffers (Lebaneese/Israeli civilians) in the name of political self interest. You sit in Egypt and complain about Israeli and US policy, but have you tried to make or offer a peaceful idea for this stupid conflict that probably will never end.
Maybe one day you will understand that the Muslim youth are being brainwashed with militant agenda that only serves the self interest of few evil people in power. In addition, what has the eygptian goverment ever done to help the Palestinian people? The Palestinian cause is just an "excuse" for the Muslim extremist to wage war on Israel. Peace is definetly possible in between the Palestinian and Israeli people, the problem is that Iran, Syria (which allows extremist groups hide in Damescus), and other fanetical groups stop it from happening by waging war.
The question is ......what do you want.
I want peace, hopefully some day you will too.

Martin, the case between Iran and Nasrullah is way different! Do you call Israel a puppet for America because they receive their aids and support all the time? No. That is the case with Hizbullah,Iran and Syria. They are allies, meaning they have a common enemy. Alliance is different from being a puppet government.

You said he's hiding underground... well, war is not a utopian theory, he is the leader now, if he gets killed the morale will go down, not to mention that he's the main target of Israel now, so it would be stupid and reckless to show up just to prove that he's the man!

You want peace, Ok, but Israel doesn't! It's a zero-sum game! a zeo-sum game! Israel wants war because they think themselves invincible, and because they won't tolerate Arabs, Muslims or Christians, living with them in "the promised land"... It's a perpetual conflict,it's not about a temporary mandate for economical benefits, they want us out! That explains why Israel is the only statein the world that still practices apartheid. And I'm talking about apartheid, not discrimination!
