Hacked

Well, it seems like my hotmail account was hacked, and now I can't even have access to my own inbox... You know when I think of all those things saved in there, my contacts addresses, dozens of categorized favorite emails... It just drives me crazy! I don't know who did it or why, I can't even be sure that it was hacked. But in the mean time, that the only thing I can figure, and I have my doubts. I tried retrieving my password by providing the secret answer, but it turned out that I'd forgotten it. I also tried sending it to an alternate email, and it didn't work niether. Now, as I sought help, someone offerred to retrieve it for me... I don't know how, but I don't care, I want my email back!

So, my friends, if you get any wierd emails from o_eliwat@hotmail.com, or talked to "me" on messanger and thought I was tripping or being unstable... then, never mind! You know it now...

I don't want to switch everything and everyone to another email yet, because I still have hope...

Ola,
Try to login later, this is maybe dut to yechnical problems... if not send an email to the hotmail stuff and tell them about this and what your account contains (emails, addresses, folders) and they will reply you (1-2 moths later) and I know this will help you... I have heared about it... send them an email.

It happened to my few months ago but using Yahoo mail account. i could not open with even with the secret question. i contacted the yahoo staff and they asked me to FAX them a copy of my ID with my address, the one i have on my account, and with an authorization letter signed by me to allow them to get into my account to change the password and send me another one to my alternate email address. anyway, it took couple of days and it was solved. i do not think my account was hacked in anyway, but it just wont open for some reason. i had all my personal pictures in albums and my bank and credit card information saved on that account too, beside all the contacts too. well, you live and learn.

Try to make another email and add yr old email to it , and try to figure what are the demands of the terrorist , thought you shouldnt negotiate with them , bs ya3ni .......

This happened to an account I had back at uni. It was a unix account and the hacker used it to put a bot on IRC, subscribe me to a Chinese Music Appreciation news group, change my picture on my homepage and replace it with a picture of a funny looking guy in sunglasses... I didn't know whether to smack the guy senseless or to give him a high-5...
